What is a Keyless Entry System?

A keyless entry system grants authorized users access to a room by using wired locks, intercoms and card readers

Compared to wireless systems, wired units require the installation and wiring of components. These units connect to your internet router, which enables them to unlock doors from the other side of town. A keyless entry system is managed by a software and allows property admins to configure access permissions to users.

Access to such security systems can either be managed locally or remotely. If the software is cloud based it can be managed from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. They can be managed from a computer, tablet or a smartphone.

Keyless entry systems are a great fit for apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and residential communities, retail, and offices to name a few.
